Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and a display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name from Google — we never see your Google password.

Case information. If you choose to track a case, we collect the form type, filing date, service center, and optionally a receipt number. Receipt numbers are encrypted before storage and never appear in URLs, emails, or any public page.

Community content. Anything you post publicly is visible to other users under your display name.

Basic usage data. Standard server logs and aggregate analytics about which pages are visited. We do not sell this or share it with advertisers.

What we do with it

We use your case information solely to check its status against public government systems and to send you the alerts you have asked for. We use your email address to send those alerts and to let you sign in. That is the extent of it.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your case details with employers, attorneys, recruiters, or anyone else.

Aggregate statistics

We may include anonymized, aggregated timing data in site-wide statistics — for example, average processing times by month. This can never be traced back to an individual and never includes receipt numbers, names, or employers.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to operate: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (DNS), and an email delivery provider. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.

Your choices

You can view, edit, or delete any case at any time. You can turn off any alert. You can delete your account entirely, which removes your profile, your cases, your alert preferences, and your case history. Deletion is permanent.

Every alert email includes a link to manage your preferences or unsubscribe.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to your records is enforced at the database level, not just in application code, so only your account can read your cases. Receipt numbers receive additional encryption. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not collect information we do not need.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email.
